Long the subject of internal discussion our current position on social media is that it is great for getting information out, but dangerous for news organizations to get information in.

Social media influence is strong and for a news organization we need to resist the influencing factors of social media.

We are experimenting with twitter and will understand our next steps once the experiment has run its course.
